How Can We Help?

Who should I choose to be my community inheritor?
You will only be able to choose someone who is a member of the community to be your community inheritor.

Make sure you consider these things:
  • He/she will replace you and become the next community owner
  • He/she will be responsible for the continuity of your community
  • He/she will get full access to your community management

Because the role of the community inheritor is very important in determining the future path of the community, make sure this person is someone you can trust, and who has the ability and knowledge to lead your community. Community organizers are a good choice because they probably have enough experience to replace you. But you can also choose other community managers, even regular members if you like.

We advise you to state your intentions and say what you do or don't want to be done to your community before you appoint a community inheritor. That way your community inheritor can understand and follow your wishes. If you already have a community inheritor and you change your mind, you can remove it and choose a new person in the Inheritance section of Community Settings.
