How Can We Help?

What is account memorialization?
Account memorialization is provided by Collanity as an opportunity for family, friends, and colleagues to remember deceased users while protecting their privacy. A memorialized account will be labeled "In memory of" as a sign that this user has passed away.

The following is an example of the difference between a regular account and a memorialized account:

Additionally, a memorialized account will have the following characteristics:
  • The account will not be able to be logged in by anyone, not even the Account Inheritor.
  • The account login session history will be deleted from all devices.
  • All rights to manage the account will be granted to a pre-defined Account Inheritor, with limited access.
  • All active Collanity products currently being used by the account will be terminated immediately.
  • All notifications for that account will go to the Account Inheritor.
  • All content (posts, job ads, events, etc.) posted by the account will not be shown on the explore page but will appear as normal in the account's associate's feed.
