As a community owner, can I pass my role to someone else?
As a Community Owner, you can pass your role down to someone you trust by doing the following steps:
1. Go to the community page you lead.
2. Go to community settings.
3. Go to the Manager & Access section.
4. Click the "Step Down" button.
5. Choose a Community Manager you trust, to be invited to be your replacement. Write a message explaining why you chose this person.
6. Confirm by entering your account password. If successful, the message "Your invitation was successfully sent" will appear.
7. Check the status of your invitation in the Manager & Access settings under Owner > View Invitations. You can invite more than 1 person by repeating steps 4, 5, and 6 and you can withdraw invitations if you change your mind.
8. The person who first accepts the invitation and completes the role transfer process will become the Community Owner. You will be automatically demoted to a regular community member.
